So I'm going down a bit of a rabbit hole, as I do, and I'm trying to figure out the original, OE part, internal diameter of the larger bushing "hole" on the dog-bone. I've bought three aftermarket ones now and between those and my old one (also not OEM) there are two different sizes. It might matter for auto vs manual, I'm not sure. I know the bushings are different, but I'm not sure about the dog-bone itself.

Unfortunately these days only the manual bushings are available, however I did find an NOS auto bushing on eBay. Definitely a difference between them visually, but now I'm trying to sort out the two dog-bones themselves. The smaller version (of which I now have three) really takes some effort to get the new bushing into (and seems to permanently deform the center of the bushing). The larger ID one on the other hand is a pretty easy process.

This is all partially because I'm curious about the differences, partially because I don't want to ruin my NOS auto bushing. So if anyone has one out there that they could measure (and know whether or not it's OEM) that would be amazing. Unfortunately the parts yards here don't really have anything for me to go poke at myself.

Tangentially related, I'm also searching for a new "transmission damper" bushing, but I'll post a WTB for that (a stretch as well I know).

Thanks!
