    Question

    Great, all questions have been answered and Mike lives in Hawaii so shall we bury this thread once again?

    not yet... i have to add my little story...

    i jumped a railroad track doing about 100 mph. i caught about 4 feet of air flew maybe 15 feet... did some bottoming out, but it didn't seem to hurt anything. i went over a curb at 50 once... broke three of my lugs off... i drove it with one lug to the repair place
    87 hatch (stolen)

    88 lxi 4dr, 5spd, threw a rod... in process of swapping engine from my 87 hatch (police recovered what was left of the car).

    the fucker that sold me the 88 is lucky he lives 500 miles from me...

    That's odd I really don't know. I wasn't looking for this thread at all. I sware I saw it under the New Posts board. Either the forum is malfunctioning or I forgot to take my meds again. Seriously I didn't think I was the first person commenting on this old thread. Alright I need more sleep and less 3geez. Damn...I need a drink too!

    5280 ft = 1 mile

    100mph = 5280x100 = 528,000 ft/hr

    100mph/60min/60sec = 146.67 ft/sec.

    So what you're telling me is that you were doing 100mph and got a sweet 4 feet of air and a sweet 15 feet distance....Sorry buddy but I'm gonna have to call Bull-Shiat on that one. It's call Physics, no way possible.....4 feet of sweet air and only 15 ft....pleaze....

    So you car accelerates faster to the ground then the force of gravity??
    At that speed and height you should have gone at least 80 feet!!!

    At 100 mph you travel 15 ft in approx 0.10 sec...lol WOW air born for less then 1-10th of a sec...what a rush.....LMAO

    Noffin personal.........
