89 Accord Lxi 5 speed FI A20A3 engine swap

I have a 89 Accord Lxi 5 speed FI A20A3 and want to do an engine swap. I’m mechanically inclined, have limited welding and fab experience, and know a little about wiring and general vehicle mechanic work (to broke to have someone fix what breaks). I have time and am willing to research or ask for advice. I’ve researched building the stock motor. I want the car around 300 hp to have fun. I want to research an awd swap also. It’s and old car but interior and body are fantastic (absolutely no rust on body and interior has no cracks, tears or missing parts) so I want to make a sleeper out of it but build it stay as easy and budget friendly as possible. Again I have time and now it won’t exactly be cheap.

AWD is not quite there yet It would require a lot of custom parts for the rear end. Mostly all of the rear subframe and anything that attaches to it such as the spindles brakes the upper control arms lower control arms sway bars etc would all have to be replaced or you would have to cut it out and use some other rear-wheel drive car to make things work in the back It's something that I've been working on researching over the years most recently I've talked to s1 built to about this they want $15,000 to do the R&d for it. However they are currently working on a 4th gen and up kit and I'm working with a local fabricator by the name of wheel spec who is working directly with s1 built on the 4th gen stuff and I will be getting measurements and things like that from the kit once he gets it here shortly for a project that he's working on and I will work with them both to see what can be done to modify that to fit. I've also went down the road and done the A to B adapter plate so that you can put a B series all-wheel drive transmission to your A series engine and have it run in your car which works flawlessly also you have the option for swaps You could always do a B series swap utilize the whole CRV engine and transmission related things to swap your vehicle You will have to create some custom mounts for that which I am currently working on but for the most part I will drive isn't something that would be an option unless you have crazy fabrication skills but anything's possible with enough grinding a cut off wheel or sawzall and a welder.

Sounds Fun. Share some pics. Curious about the AWD aspect of what you looking to do. I think the 300 HP is realistic but trying to go awd from back then with a Honda car is where I wonder if the mods will get wild. What are you thinking for a donor engine and trans that would handle that and fit into this?

If this is an April Fools post....keep the car stock.
If it isn't....keep the car stock.

300hp ain't realistic big dog. Even with forced induction, that's pretty serious.
You could do a b series swap of course, there's quite a bit of documentation on it here. Much less for k series, but it's been done.
For AWD. No, erase that thought. The rear suspension will have to be totally custom. The current suspension is pretty much unique to this chassis, at least the trailing arms and you aren't going to be able to retrofit civic/Integra trailing arms. You would be building an entire rear tube frame and then there's still the question of what knuckles you would be able to use, or make.
