1989 Accord Lx Auto - throttle cable and more

Having fun with a clean , good running (mostly it is carbureted) , 89 Accord. Owned this car back in HS and wanted to pass some fun on to my son.

I have search the threads and seen some mentions about adjusting the throttle cable but cant anything on replacing it and its discontinued. See video for full explanation with manual references etc.

Have a nuanced throttle cable (from pedal to front on transmission) question for the group. See video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TgqS5VGCJU

If you have a 3rd gen with auto I think you can help me out.

    Manual link https://www.manualslib.com/manual/46...ge=1453#manual Pg. 1453

If you have any insights or time to shoot a video and show me how yours is set up I would appreciate it.

I beleive the replacement part would be Honda 24360-pf4-L01
    My vin is JHMCA5637KC054596

Any insights . Thanks for looking.

Also my highest setting on my heater blower does not blow. Any tricks for getting that back beyond just junkyard replacement. (I can find one of these).

    What is the question exactly?
For the throttle cable, just adjust the nuts on the carburetor side, I just tighten mine until it raises the idle and then back it off a bit. The cable going to the trans is the kickdown pedal. If it downshifts as soon as you floor it, I wouldn't worry about it.
For the blower motor, it's probably the blower resistor that has gone bad

The question is where does the throttle cable from the transmission connect to the throttle body and can you share a picture and or video . My car is completely missing the cable .

Dude, there's literally part of the carburetor body that holds throttle blades. I think it gets the point across.

I was talking in another thread that the Japanese export models seem to use a different TV cable. I do not remember one on mine, but it seems to attach to the throttle linkage rather than the pedal. I am using that carb and it has the same linkages as the domestic made cars.
