    hi guys

which hubcaps do you think would look better on my dark blue 89 coupe:
    http://www.buysell.com/showad.asp?id=20813079
    or
    http://www.buysell.com/showad.asp?id=12860893

i'm also open to other suggestions. this is my winter car, so i want to keep the steelies but need some new hubcaps.

    thanks

Damn, dude, were you reading my mind or something? I'm thinking about getting those like the ones from the second picture for my car since I don't want rims. My car's dark blue too.

im 99.9% sure that those hubcaps will not fit on your car we have 13's stock and the newer civics are bigger, unless you intend on buying the civic wheels too...

    88-89 3G Accords are 14's. The first picture's got 14's and the second one's got 15's.

my sis has the 01 civic and hers are 15" rims... Thet may even be 16's... but for sure they are definitly not 14". IMO you should roll on steelies if anything. Hubcaps look really bad... Why dont you just throw on a set of cheap pepboy rims for now... ? Get some cheap "winter tires" and you will be better off traction wise and looks wise....

    check out these tires....

anybody got pics of 3geez on steelies?
my guess is that they only look good if the car is lowered, which i'm still working on.

For those of us with no money, hubcaps are the only alternative. Don't make fun of that. It is very arrogant and immature.

Rolling on steels painted black looks really ugly on our cars... it's ok on the newer Civics but not on our Accords. I personally wouldn't suggest it. My opinion, keep the stock hubcaps or get imitation Honda hubcaps that will fit your car. Anything else really doesn't look that good. For instance, the hubcaps you purchase at Wal Mart not only look rice and stupid, they also tend to fly off easily and/or crack when you hit the curb because they stick out. There are several websites out there that sell hubcaps that LOOK like Honda OEM but aren't, and those hubcaps will fit on ours. Hope this helps.

don't buy fancy hubs.......its like trying to pick up chicks when your wearing a dress.....it just doesn't work. Roll on steelies or the stock (or as close to stock) hubbies.......
