i know this is a stupid, question, but i have to know anyways. are struts for all around the car? or just the front? and are shocks just for the back? or are they both basically the same thing?

shocks and struts are performe the same task. The difference is that a strut is usually mounted inside the coil spring. like a mcferson strut. you have struts in your car.
