Ok so I have Tockico Shocks and Progress lowering springs. I have a rattle in the front left strut assembly. it sounds as if the dust cover has side play and is rattling on the spring. This is made apparent by the paint that is taken off the shock itself. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Make sure all correct washers are in place and that the bushings are in good condition. Also check that the shaft nut is tight. The dust cover is held in place between a washer that rests on the shaft, and one of the upper mounting bushings.
