    Question a little question

ok, I took off one of my springs and struts this past weekend and went to compress the spring but the spring compresser I have is too thick to fit inbetwen the springs. where can I find a spring compressor that will work?

I've been told that I can take them to les schuab and have them compress the springs once they're off, but I've also been told that they wont for insurance reasons.

I was soooooooo pissed off when I had to put the stock spring back on my car.
oh well, I'm gonna see if I can figure something out this weekend.

You need one from Napa ($50) or Discount Auto ($25). Those will fit your stock springs.
If you don't care, you can unbolt it while the suspension is on the car. Just remove the fork to lower arm bolt first. Then remove the nut (be careful). If you're still alive, then remove the 3 nuts and use a rubber mallet to hit the strut and spring out from there.
