K car is in Autotrader, page 88

If you live in Washington, Alaska, or N Idaho, you can pick up a copy of autotrader, and my car is on page 88 if you want to check it out. Remember, it's in the magazine of autos $6999 and under. I just got a few issues today. So we'll see what happens. Another cool thing is my dads friend might buy it from me for $6500 for his son. He is going to come by this week and look at it.

    here is the link,

First of all, you are selling the accord right? Second, your car is not worth 6500 and anyone that gives you that much needs to get their head examined. You will be very lucky to get that much money out of a 14 year old accord. I hope you can get that much, but I still think that is overpriced. Also you dont need to resort to name calling just because I dont agree with you on the price of a car, that is pretty childish

I'm not going to stick up for anyone but this is something I didn't know until a couple years ago. Washington has higher used car prices in general. Pearldrop's car sold for I think $6500 and that was an 87 LX. There were stock 89's with an asking price of $6000 a while back as well. Tons of people come up from Washington to buy in BC because it's cheaper than buying locally. As for Mike's asking price, if that's what he feels it's worth, that's fine. If it's too high, no one will buy it. If someone feels it's worth what he's asking, they'll pay it.

    2old_honda,

It isn't too high when you put over $20K into a car numnuts. Bluebook is about $3K, which means I'm only asking for $3K more for my mods and I put over 10K of mods into it , so do the math. I might even get $7K for it. It only has 134K miles, it's mint. I already have calls for it from autotrader. If you had anywhere near the mods I have, you might understand. But don't talk out your ass unless you can back it up. You don't know what your talking about.

Pearldrop sold his car for $4200 or something.

Ok, once again there is no need for name calling. I dont mean to be rude but who is the numbnuts dropping $20K on a 89 accord? And what did you get for that $20K? I/H/E, bling bling wheels, a bunch of lights, some painted stuff, and other worthless crap. Half of the shit on that list aren't even a noteworthy mods, like painted calipers and seat belt pads, and the list goes on. Honestly I dont even see where the $20k went. And dont lecture me about not having any mods, My VR4 has nearly $10K into the engine(where it really counts) and I could turn around and sell it tomorrow for more than I paid.

i am with 2 oldhonda on this one. that is a list that says i have lights, lowered, I/H/E and some stereo... i really hope you get 7 grand for the car, but I do this thats a high price, for such a small list

i have custom paint too... you have white paint, i have blue and black two tone... most of those mods dont count like 20ld said.
i dont wanna argue, but someone has to back his ass up

I love people who say they have cars they don't actually own. Ya some painted stuff sure. $2K in paintjob, $2k in wheels, $3K in stereo, shall I keep going, haha? $500 for wing, $1500 in engine mods, hmm I can keep going......I'm getting what I desire so that's what matters. I got almost 8 years of enjoying that car, so that's whats important. I'm glad for the money I put in. You only put $10K in your dream VR4, funny. I mean you actually think I'm trying to sell the car for doing painted tailights, and door lights, hahaha. Gimme a break. I know those dont count. I have done everything to that car. I could careless what you say, all I gotta say is bling bling!

do you want pics of my VR4? how about a scan of the title? or a list of mods? I can provide them. My accord is just my POS daily driver.

Listen, I am done here. It is pointless to argue about this. I am sorry I even brought it up. Also Mike89Accordcom, I really hope you sell your car for $6.5K or whatever. I dont have any beef with you, I just dont think your car is worth what you are asking.

ps- you really dont need to be so hostile.

Yeah the person who might buy it will take very good care of it. I know his family well. His dad and my dad are buddies. And whats cool is, he lives about 25 mins away, so my car wont be seen in town, hehe. TOO many people know that car.

    500 - exhaust
    500 - short intake
    500 - headers
    :P

i have seen the car in person, and i really like it, but you could get way more car for $6000-$7000...

yeah i would give you about 4000 at the most and i live in alaska where cars are expensive as hell. the only way you can get what your asking price is, is to sell it to someone who either admires you and the car way too much, or some dumbass who doesnt know anything

peace, oh yeah and learn to spell on your website man.

Before i get Flamed let me speak my mind

So your saying that because you have 10k in mods, that that justifies you selling the car for 10k dollars? Did you add your own hourly rate to that? So for every hour you put into it (well, someone else put into it) you upped the price $20.00? Is that because your such a wonderful person and your cars are so cool? So the wing that doesnt fit and the rims that are from the early 1990s chrome era are now doubled in value because they are yours? Does it not occur to you that you never get even half of what you put into a car? And sorry, a paint job for $2000 doesnt add that much value to a car. It helps, but in no way does it take it from a $4000 car to a nearly $7000 car. I just dont see the excitement in the mods. I could make that car look stock in a matter of an hour. Cars that you have to put tons of work into to put them back to stock (and some you cant) are the ones that have the true workmanship in them. Yours on the other hand, I just cant see it. The vinyl banner is a hot item, I did that once in 1992. That definitely adds $23.00 to the total cost of the car. Add the cost of the stock interior with the holes in the dash from the tach for your automatic, and hell..we may have ourselves a sub $7000 car! Just not seeing it, much like everyone else on this board.

If you guys don't like the price then DON'T BUY IT!!!!! Seriously now he's trying to sell his car and if no one wants to buy it don't post. I'm sure he only wants to read posts from people that are interested in paying that or close to it.
