this morning I took my car in for repairs...

new radiator tank
and replacement of the primary cooling fan. I ordered a replacement motor, but the good news is that it was unnecessary, so im sending it back for a refund. Since the original motor was fine.

Bad news, is that the fan shroud and fan blade are fucked, the shroud is cracked and the blade is warped. meaning i need about $125 to order a replacement.

However, i am considering would a generic thermo fan fit? I cant see why it wouldn't....

The radiator is been sent to a specialist to have the top tank replaced, my quik steel repairs came under after a couple of days...oh well I tried. However the radiator has some denting and minor damage at the bottom, which could mean a total replacement of the core....ill find out tomorrow.

And the tank is been sent down from melbourne and will be fitted if all is good.

This is gunna cost me a little under weeks worth of pay....the only major concern is how to go by getting a replacement fan....
