*new* pics of my 83 civic

Not 3gee material, but nevertheless fun to look at!

    Nice angle shot

    Door pic

    Another door shot

Heres a shot of the whole car

Shot of the humble engine bay

    Here's the interior

Whooaaaa, thats a whole lot of travel! Original engine though, LONG LIVE HONDAS!

And a final shot of the exterior with a little dent in the back. (what would a old honda without a dent be eh?)

wow. that is a really clean looking car. a plunger should take that dent out of the quarter. you may need to get a dent puller and some body hammers to work out the dent under the bumper there.
one of my 88 lx's is up for parts. good engine and transmission. pretty much everything is there. the fenders and hood are bad but other than that it's pretty good.

RIP my beutiful 5g coupe. May the villans rot in hell!

I am really starting to like older style honda's. I used to not like them but they are pretty damn nice IMO, especially yours. Just fix the dent and thats one sharp looking car. I also just learned to drive stick on my 3g, with 140K it appears to have the same clutch, and no slipping, love the honda drivetrain!

Oh man, you said a mouth full. Same here. My 88 Accord DX is in fresh out of the factory condition. I just have to finish windown and door trim, and every single part on that honda accord will look like it came straight off of the assembly line...minus the 2 right hubbies and the lil ding one the right front bumper

That's got to be the cleanest living DX I've ever seen.

Wow, that's absolutely amazing-that car does not look like it's 20 years old!

That is one nice, clean car dude!

I almost bought one of those at a garage sale years ago. It had a broken timing belt and the guy had the engine parts all over the place. He actually CUT the hoses to the A/C compressor to get it out of the way. I guess I just didn't have the automotive experience that I now have. Now I would have jumped on that $75 car as a "project."

Anyway, the 1g Accords basically looked like bigger Civics hatchbacks. A friend's sister had one. It had an "automatic" transmission that you had to shift from 1st to 2nd manually.

Honda automobiles have pretty much always been built like tanks. I can't speak about the newer ones.

seriously, you could start showing that car. it's 20 years old already and i know that at the car show we had where i work they had a "Stock Import" class. only 3 cars showed up and 2 were perfectly restored Triumphs, but i would bet that thing could definitly be competative in local shows. or just take it to a cruise night. you'd be surprised how many people can appreciate old hondas.
