    cutting aftermarket springs

    i have tokico 1'' drop and i want to cut them to lower 1 and half inchs, how much should be cut off the springs?

    If you really want to do that, the best place to cut is the "dead" coils at the top of the spring BUT this would require you to use something like a chop swap that will cut the whole top end flush again. That way, you are only cutting off the coils that don't really do anything. If you only have a hand grinder, start with a 1/4 coil cut from the bottom and see how much that drops it. Again, make sure you really want to do this because you can never replace a cut coil.
