    Fuel Injector cleaner?...stops rattling?

a friend of mine, put some fuel injector cleaner into his 92 legacy wagon, and he says it stopped the shaking in his car. u kno the shaking/rattling that happens whn the car is at a light. anyway, he told me that some1 else he knows put some in his 89 accord and it killed the shaking too.

hes been bugging me to put it into my car b/c, its like tremor while the car is at a light. i don't think its gonna help, in fact ive never heard of fuel injector cleaner fixing this problem. anybody got any clue if this will or will not work ?

It might help. If everything is clean it will run better, and it's cheap enough so that you can try it and if it does nothing, who cares? The car's old enough so that odds are something is dirty, so give it a try.

If youre gonna try a fuel injection cleaner, try Chevron Techron, its the best. A friend of mine once fixed a 3.1 GM v6 that had a bad miss on 1 cylinder because of a plugged injector and he ran 2 bottles of it through and the engine ran good as new.

i say go for it. the engine sounds a little better, and with your old engine, it really cant hurt.

I had alittle miss in mine. And a couple of weeks ago I took the injectors out and cleaned them with a old tooth brush and gas, put new o-rings and seals in and it fixed my problem.
