Saw some altezzas that might work on a 3g

The other day I saw a 93-97 Corolla with altezzas on it and they looked like they might work on our cars with a little bit of bodywork. I'm probably going to buy a set off ebay to see if they would work. If they do work I post pics later.

The altezza idea is way gay unless you actually have an altezza. then there is an exception...the car came with them so why take them off?

ok. i happen to have carbon fiber 1st generation altezzas and i happen to think that they look good. however on my car the shape of it is very similar to that of the altezza/ is300. i don't like the dorky bubbly looking ones that everyone puts on like s 10's and stuff.
one of my 88 lx's is up for parts. good engine and transmission. pretty much everything is there. the fenders and hood are bad but other than that it's pretty good.

RIP my beutiful 5g coupe. May the villans rot in hell!

altezzas look good on some cars and gay on others. Have any of you noticed that they use to be huge in the show scene, and now no show cars have them- some do, but most don't.

If you want altezzas buy a car that has them available, don't mess up your car in order to say "I have altezza's".

Although my friends 00 si looked good with them, but he made a show car with everything imaginable done to the body so they finished the back end up nicely.

Do a conversion with the 00 si/ex tail lights, the red and clear would look better then altezzas.

some people just like them. it's a matter of taste. the idea of custom tails is that they are custom, so fitting them into a car that they aren't available for it cool by me, even though i don't really like them.

You mean they only look good on certain cars and gay on most cars.

I would agree that they look good on the IS cuz they came with the car.

Did they get "altezza" from the Toyota Altezza (IS)?

Someone in my area did that to an Accord coupe. They fit but not perfect and he painted the inner half of the lights black.

Altezzas are overated and most of them look ugly.

Yeah. the toyota altezza and lexus is300 came with the ever so famous taillights that every thinks is "custom" now a days.
