    Removing The Choke (I Think)

    http://members.fortunecity.com/accordex87/how_to10.jpg

Alright fellas, I need a little help. My carb is all the way off with just this thing attached.

The deal in the picture marked "Remove Choke" I need to disconnect this from the engine, how do I do that?

It looks like I have to clip it, however I need YOUR opinion!

    Cheers,

    Bob

i dont know how you can just remove the choke...but if you really wanted to, i guess you could just clip the wires.

you dont need to remove the choke. if you want to keep it, you can reroute some lines to keep the vacuum secondary, and to keep the choke. ill post some pics in a minute...

Oh shit it's just the wire... I thought you wanted it off the carb...

look along the wire for a small bullet connector.. it has a rubber boot around it so it won't look like a connector... just tug on both ends and it should come apart
