I would use a light tint so it's not too obvious for the cops

i saw some stuff in the summit sport compact catalog for tinting tail lights. it's called nightshade and is 11 bucks. if i order something out of the magazine i might get it to tint just the orange part black (has anyone done this? does it look decent?)
one of my 88 lx's is up for parts. good engine and transmission. pretty much everything is there. the fenders and hood are bad but other than that it's pretty good.

RIP my beutiful 5g coupe. May the villans rot in hell!

I've seen some Volvo's and Saab's around here that have the orange blinker part and the reverse light tinted black, or smoked maybe. I pretty sure they come like that stock on some of their models. It looks pretty cool, and you can still see the blinker and everything fine. Now I wanna know whats up with the new Accords with the pink tinted blinker lights and reverse lights....
If I see another vehicle with a bumper sticker that reads "My other car is a Nimbus 2000", I might have to rear-end them.

Here is my car a year and a half ago......

I used regular black paint and sprayed the least amount possible, enough only to have the yellow disapear. It still shined pretty well.
I will be doing this again to my new car but i'd like to use the special made tint for rear lights. I'll see whats up.

Depends on where you are. Most states law specifies that you cannot block the lights with anything, regardless of the amount of light that still gets through.

Prolly just get a fix-it ticket if anything, no biggie.
