I would use a light tint so it's not too obvious for the cops![]()

one of my 88 lx's is up for parts. good engine and transmission. pretty much everything is there. the fenders and hood are bad but other than that it's pretty good.
RIP my beutiful 5g coupe. May the villans rot in hell!

I've seen some Volvo's and Saab's around here that have the orange blinker part and the reverse light tinted black, or smoked maybe. I pretty sure they come like that stock on some of their models. It looks pretty cool, and you can still see the blinker and everything fine. Now I wanna know whats up with the new Accords with the pink tinted blinker lights and reverse lights....![]()
If I see another vehicle with a bumper sticker that reads "My other car is a Nimbus 2000", I might have to rear-end them.
ask coroncho... his looks tight
i tinted mine today, but i more or less "smoked" them out, at night or near dusk they look like their fully tinted, but during the day it's a really dark red, VHT is da ish, i got it from a speed shop, i did a bad job tho, i suck at painting shit! lol oh well it's not that bad, but i wish i could do a better job
"Accord"........we are one........
how did you do a bad job is the paint rigid ,bumpy, or has runs because then just get fine sand paper smothit out thin buff it ruffly with rubbing compound to make it reflect and look good

I used regular black paint and sprayed the least amount possible, enough only to have the yellow disapear. It still shined pretty well.
I will be doing this again to my new car but i'd like to use the special made tint for rear lights. I'll see whats up.
Can someone post some brands and links of the paint that you've found or used.
I got this one so far but humm....... http://www.matrixracing.com/cgi-bin/...item_id=SPLSMK
Nightshades work pretty well.
Depends on where you are. Most states law specifies that you cannot block the lights with anything, regardless of the amount of light that still gets through.Originally posted by Chubs87Accord
