I just got this today...

It's a Pioneer DEH-P6500, with that cool 3D display. Sounds AWSOME compared to my old crappy one I had in there. All kinds of neat stuff to mess around with too, half of which I'm not sure what it does, lol. But I'm learning! I also like having an actual volume KNOB, instead of buttons. I hate volume buttons! Now I need to start building on to it (I've only got the 4 speakers, although they've been replaced with some nice Polks). I'm a total audio n00b though, so I gotta do some researching and learn how to do this stuff, lol.


Think I made a good choice? I know it's not everything that an Alpine is (I would have gotten the Alpine if I had the $$$), but I think this is a pretty good one. I'm happy with it

yeah good choice with the pioneer,i think youll find it will offer you some great sounding music! if your lookin to build a system your next step should be a four channel amp for those speakers. you have a nice start though

Nice deck, I think you wont be dissapointed one bit. Pioneer and Alpine are pretty close in quality. Im a pioneer fan too, cant lose wit it

Looks crunk. I like JVC myself, but that setup works. Nice cupholder you got there. Get rid of the damn maroon floormats though.

Nice. I just installed one of those(i think that model.... ) in my friends Civic. The only thing I dont' like about his is that when I tried to set the high-pass and low-pass crossovers they didn't work like they did on my Alpine.....like I set the high pass and it cut off on the sub too....even though it's on the sub pre-outs......veird.....of course I'm gonna try to get it to work because it helps a lot when you can cut off the lows to the full ranges and let the subs hit them. But other than that I would get one too if I didn't already have an Alpine!
