    clear coat

    is it possible to buy clearcoats in a can? and will adding one change anything in the paint. my car soesnt have one now and it sucks.

    you can but krylon clear coat or duplicolor. you just don't get the depth that you would from a spray gun.
    one of my 88 lx's is up for parts. good engine and transmission. pretty much everything is there. the fenders and hood are bad but other than that it's pretty good.

    yeah, same here. i've got spots where the clearcoat are peeling. is that stuff worth it?

    it makes it some what shiny again. you just need to sand off the loose stuff and spray it on. you just won't get the depth that's the only thing.

    hey my clearcoat has totally come off my bonet n parts of the door,and my paint is crapping up, u's think i should jus find the same stock colour or somethin similiar n start over again ?
    still not clean, Still Not Clean ,STINK OF FAILURE STILL ON ME

    if i were you id make friends with a body man, buy him a 30 pack, and have him start spraying.

    I was just at Fred Meyer (if you dont have it it's a Kroeger store) and they have quite the selection of car paint, primer, and clear coat, all for under 5 bucks apiece.

    i know autozone has "sprayer" attachments that you can put on a can of spray paint. when i was buying stuff for my wheels i saw them. wether they work well or not i don't know.

    Those sprayer atachments work nicely but they are prone to brake when you take them off the can so take it off carefully that was the only problem I had with them.
