dude. what size rims are those? would you ming measuring them for me? it would be greatly appreciated. i got a little carried away lowering my car so now i need to know the biggest rim and tire package that i can go. i have a set of 16's with some decent meat on them. perfect for traction but the side wall is a little too much. i think they will suit my 5th gen as winter rims much better.
one of my 88 lx's is up for parts. good engine and transmission. pretty much everything is there. the fenders and hood are bad but other than that it's pretty good.

So's our Accord meohmy. You've always got something to say dont you?

Ryan, check the How To for how to do that. It's pretty simple! https://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=104

YK86 also has some info on his site. http://www.b20accord.com/clear.html

actually it was a joke. and yes i do always have something to say. that's just the way i am. i don't believe it's a difficult concept to grasp. and i don't like to think of my accord as a grandma car. i doubt any grandmas around will be sporting an h22a1.

You'll improve thier appearance a whole lot of you create some bushings to bring the lenes out to be more flush. The original lenes are dome shaped. When you do the flat clears like that, they naturally sink into the bumper. I created bushings for my front clears by stacking a bunch of rubber washers that I cut to fit and then glued together with silicon glue. 7 of the washers per side will give you about a 1/2 inch.

Btw, no one has a how to for creating front bumper clears for the 86-87 cars and all years of hatches. YK86's site tells you how to create rear tail light clears.

I had a web site with a how to, but it's not longer up.

Rims are 38mm offset aren't they. 40mm offset ones and 205/40-17 should never rub, even if your sitting on the bump stops

My site does mention the front clears in the same how-to as the rears. I just never put it in the title. I used two sets of the original rubber gaskets to keep the moisture out.

I was just going to write a reponse to him about that YK86.

As for the previous sites I posted, it was just a ballpark idea as to how they are done. I was aware they werent for 86 87 but Ryan's accord was an 88.

Anyway, I think I might tackle making those tomorrow. Depends how I feel.
