emissions box

i want to take out the little black emissions box. can some one tell me how you do it and will it hurt any thing if i do? thanks

there is How to remove vacuum lines.

there is a way to keep AC and cruise control, but you won't get as much gain as you would without them connected.

Yeah I went crazy when I did this and cut all the black tubes. Not a good idea if you want to keep things. I removed the cruise control and I guess I still have A/C somehow. I removed all the vac. tubes and still have it so it must now work off the vacuum lines. It was a nice power gain. I didn't expect any gains but there was. The only problem is when I floor it the car kinda stutters but that could be b/c of this throttle bracket I made. Or it could be a vacuum leak. I dont know for sure and I haven't had time to fix and check for the problem.

cool thanks for the help looks like i have something to keep me busy for a few hours. what all does it do? like how much power do i get will my car rev faster?
