electrical mumbo jumbo

i have a problem. i just replaced all of my interior lights. the reason they don't work is because the interior light fuse in the fuse box under the hood, is blown. the reason i haven't changed the fuse so that my interior lights work? the last 2 times i changed that fuse, one of my headlights goes out, and i have to buy a new one. is this a wiring problem, like a cross or something? or maybe the fuse is too much or not enough power? any ideas?

which headlight blows?.....do interior lights still work when it's blown?.......have you added any accessories to lighting system?or changed anything that required getting in behind dash,fuse box?

the front right. both times it did this. no, the fuse for interior lighting blows, and so does the headlight. no, i haven't changed anything or added anything to my lighting. what the hell is wrong??

you might have a short to ground somewhere along the interior lights wireing time to follow wires.

yeh,...i'd agree with that.....check all the obvious area's first,.anywhere the wiring goes thru the body,or place's where they could be rubbing /moving along the body,...check all connectors to lighting,maybe a power wire has come off and earthing out,...just a few thoughts
