I meant the new, glossy, fiber carbon dust cap look, wise guy

And I do agree with you... for the price of a W7 you could get TWO really incredible subs.

But if someone wanted to hand me a W7, I wouldn't be against that

I think what I'm thinking of is, are the new 2003 models the ones with the flat piston style woofers? Or am I thinking of Elementals new model of subs, which I think I am...

I think the 2003's actually have the rounded dustcaps.

And elemental designs is partnered up with DD, as you can probally tell, except they are detuned a little IE: Smaller voice coils, ect.

okay now back to the original topic:

im gonna get 3 kicker solorbaric L7's in a couple of months and make a tight ass custom box (will post pics when done). i still dont know what amp ill get. prolly rockford or somthin but im gonna need somethin good to push all 3 of them. i might get 3 500W amps but im not sure.

anyway some of the best subs i have ever seen are the Eclipse Titaniums

Can you get all 3 down to ~ 1 ohm? (I think if they're all SVC 4 ohm, then you can make a 1.33 ohm load, that would be very nice)

Get an Adire Revolution. 1500 watts into 1 ohm AND it's only $350 or so.

http://www.ampman.com/ check out the Revolution. It's also got a crapload of features. That's what I'm probably going to be getting come this spring.
