Hey Welcome to the board! From what i know the Lxi's came stock with 14 inch rims, mine came with 14 inch honda alloys.

Hey!
The '86-'87 LX-i sedan came stock with 13 inch alloys, the hatchback came with 13" with steel wheels/hubcaps. '88-'89 had 14" in the same setup, hubcaps for the hatchback and coupe, and 14" alloys for the sedan, and then machined aluminum 14"ers for the SE-i.

You can run the same 14's that the 88-89 LXI's and SEI's run, with no clearance issues. Providing you run the right tire size, 195/60-14. Make sure to check out what it would cost you to do 15's, instead. You might find that for not much extra, you can have a better looking rim/tire combo. Correct tire size for 15" is 195/55-15 or 205/50-15, make sure that the rims aren't used honda rims or acura, that they have a offset no lower than 40mm and not higher than around 45mm.
