    swap heads

    i have a 88 accord thats carbed i would like to put an lxi head on it has anyone done that or dors anyone know if that would even work

    That is a good question. I'm really not sure but Jim should know. I'm thinking about doing the same for my EFI conversion. The parts car I got has about 10,000 miles on a rebuild head and I was going to put on my car.

    Yes you can put an LX-i head on your carbed car...... since it's the same damn head

    Except for the distributor mount, which LXi= 3 bolts, LX = 2, but it should be ok.

    the mount can be taken from any head and swaped on the other for the distributor to sit properly
