Hey, I was wondering where you got your PWR radiator. I found the website but it didn't have any radiators for our 3GEEZ or a civic. I was just wondering how much you paid and what did you have to do to fit it into your car. Please help me out I have been looking for a performance radiator for a long time now and I saw your car pic and was like I gotta find out where he got that and how much.

    Thanks,

IT is a civic radiator and I got it from Paisley Automotive out of NY and paided about 250 I think.I cut the lower radiator supports and reweld them to fit the radiator and then made an u upper support for it.Had to cut the upper alittle to get the radiator to fit on top.

Right now the site is down for some reason I don't know. www.paisleyautomotive.com is the site where he bought his radiator.

here is one for $288 http://www.titanmotorsports.com/pwr92honciv.html

If you do a search in google for "civic PWR radiator" you will come up with a bunch of places that sell them.

I was just looking at that site. Do you think it matters that it's only 37mm? Ours are 38mm. I wouldn't mind spending $250 but $288 is pretty good for a sweet radiator. I wish there was a how to on putting it in.

I doubt it matters, it is a lot less wide than a accord rad tho. But I guess you see civics with h22's and shit with those radiators and they seem to be ok. you might want to try and find a spec sheet somewhere to see the different sizes of rads for different cars, and get one that fits the 3g a little better (wider and shorter than the civic rad)

one more thing- I saw on that site that they carry KOYO aluminum radiators. I am willing to bet that they are cheaper than the PWR rads. http://www.titanmotorsports.com/cooling.html

I wouldn't mind the custom work I'm used to it, but I don't have a welder and don't know how to weld so I would need to pay someone to have it put in. I have a friend that could probably do it for $100. But I dont like to pay other people for labor if I dont have to. I don't think Johnny O has had problems and I recall that A20A1 said something about them being for drag cars so it should be fine with our cars. I'm going to try and call them and see if there is a better size for our car.

ok, well I was looking around and the KOYO rads are going for about $350 so it looks like they are MORE than the PWR's.

yeah, I would measure the stock rad and see if they have one close to it. It would be worth the extra money (you wont have to pay for the welding) if you got one that would fit the 3g better. It would also look a lot better, less "hacked" in there.
