Yeah im getting my car painted soon...

Anyway my car needs a new pain job very badly, so i am getting it painted in about a month. Anyway i am fixing my car to brand new looking status. I have about 9 more things i have to fix, but anyway my back window has this black shit on the silver that is coming off. I want to get this fixed up before i get it painted. Do i buy a spray and put it on the spots that are coming off?

Yeah, try it, be sure to scrub it with mulit-purpose cleaner and whipe it with some degreaser and maybe scuff it up with some real fine sandpaper. But if its really starting to chip off I would just try to scrape it off real carefully with a razor blade, I got most of it off with a blade but then got bored and stopped, because if you paint on top of chipping paint, it wont stick for sure.
