    4 door to a 2 door

    what do you guys thikn about converting a 4 door to a 2 door?
    I know a few on here have did this and it looks good, i was wondering whats involved with this and what material u used.

    Shaving and welding. I am just going to get 4 racing seats instead of doing that.

    so how mmuch would a body shop charge to weld them shut and shave them for me? so this isnt a do it yourselfer job really?

    it would probably be cheaper to find a decent 2 door and swap ur upgrades over.

    If you have to ask how to do it then just forget about it. It would be ridiculously expensive to have a body shop do it... in excess of $5000.
    I have a friend who did it but he also made his car into a convertible/roadster so the roofline wasn't a problem either. He used the doors off of a two door and remade the side panels by hand. Of course he has been working on the car for ten years now.
