Chris and i installed my amp and subs today! we've never installed anything like that before so it was kinda scary not having done it before, or not having anyone there to guide us, but we got it done and it sounds great! i am sooooo happy!

yeah i surprised myself...

they sound good but i think we need an eq or something. since she didnt have sub preouts we just used the front set and set the amp to LOW or whatever.

maybe at the meet we will have people that know what they are doing who can tune it for us!

Aweosome chris! You have to start somewhere!

However, you can fade out the subs with the fader on the unit.

Make sure the gain is 3/4 or so. Ya, keep it on low pass

What's the specs of the amp and sub?

If the amp is 2 ohm stable, and the subs have Dual voicecoils, you can bump up the power by rewiring the subs

That is, if you have two :P

he has them wired in 2 ohm mono.. and its a 1 ohm stable amp.. they are my old subs...

yeah gain is about 3/4..

it sounds pretty good but not incredible. but its good enough for amber, shes thrilled.

no way. i have about 50cds. amber has about 300 cds...i dont thinik we need to worry about that! hehehe plus we listen to mp3s in our cars lately...

btw i listen to 95.5 sometimes just to annoy people.. sounds good with subs. since i dont own any rap cds.. :P

yeah i have way more cd's than chris! i've been ripping them all onto my comp so that way i can have only a few cd's with mp3's on them instead of hauling my huge case of cd's with me everywhere and getting them jacked!
