'87 prelude usdm 2.0si swapable?

Anyone know the engine codes to the 2nd gen preludes('83-'87)usdm soch non-vtec 2.0si(pgm-fi)? and if a swap is possible w/o custom motor mounts on a 3rd gen '88 accord dx(carb.)? I looked in the lists and lists of engine codes everywhere but was unable to find it. All i am wondering is can i drop a '87 usdm prelude soch non-vtec 2.0si in my dx beast. I know i will need efi conversion for sure but is it possible? and what esle will need to be done? any info would help thanks jase

You mean the lude with the A20A3 motor. I think it's 87

sorry to piggy back your thread , but is it possible to do it vice versa, swap a 86-89 accord lxi into a 87 prelude si without hassel?

They are the same motors BT/A20A3 depending on the year. The only thing you have to look out for is the 88-89 motors have that dual stage intake. If the car had the intake then you need to keep it and vice versa. It will bolt right on to earlier motor.

imo, the 2g 2.0Si motor is only worth it if are already fuel injected... it pains me to say that the fi system on the 85-87 Prelude motor only netted 10 hp over the carby system, and quite a bit less tuning options...
