Has anyone tried to add the console (if you didn't have one) in between radio and shifter that came off a loaded 3 gee? I just want one for storing cd's and stuff. It looks good too.

Yea, you need the LX-i center console that has the tape deck holders (CD was luxury stuff back then). They bolt right on. You just need all the parts that come with it, including the bracket on the back, its a black bracket.
