i think you are 4th this week to ask.. its a tilt steer lever.. pull out, push down, then move the wheel up and down... then pull back up, then back in!

what sucks is that the whole column moves instead of just tilting the wheel. but hey, i really don't want to complain cause I lost my car to a ditch a week ago today.

I agree with DX. This is a FAQ. I recently just checked to make sure it was in there and it was. Just please try and search before making new threads.

Hehe, I'd go with multifunctional. It's passenger ejection when you pull it out and when you push down, it activates the nitrous. *Because you shouldn't spray with someone else in the car*

Are you sure you pulled it straight out, all the way, kept it pulled out and then pushed down to the floor, and then moved your steering wheel?

you do know the wheel itself doesn't tilt, right? but the entire column? pull it all the way out, push it all the way down, then try and push up or pull down on the wheel. then pull the lever back up and let go.

It's not going to tilt your wheels for you. It will only tilt the steering column. Pull the lever all the way out and then push it down. Once you've done that, you can now tilt your steering column. And if this doesn't work then I think you broke it.

hehe have you ever "broken" your steering wheel while driving with other people in the car? sometimes I unlock the tilt and let the steering wheel start bouncing around and go "Uh oh, put on your seatbelt"

i was trying it but after i pull out the knob and then try to push down, theres a lot of resistance. i didn't want to push it down any harder cuz if i broke it i would be pissed. is it supposed to be kinda hard to push down after u pull it out?
