are you talking about horn beeping or it is like a buzzing sound.
i have a buzzing sound comming out my right side somewhere inside the dash when i get up to 85mph. It is not beeeb sound it is more like BZZZZZZZZZZZ sound.
I am too lazy to take a dash a part, i just call it speed limiter. this way i don't get tickets.

do you have a standard? If so, check the gearbox oil level. You could be mistakeing the sound of your fifth dear melting for a long beeeeeep. (don't ask how I know this)

I have sirens and lights that go off, I call them cops and troopers among other things! LOL Don't have a speed beeber in my car tho, so I wouldn't have a clue as how to change the beeber speed? Maybe it was a gov't regulation over in your parts. Might have to trace the stupid noise, like you did your bearing noise and disconnect it. Does it sound like any of the other reminder tones?

Hmmmm.............perhaps it's like the bomb in the movie Speed. However, in this case it's not a bomb, but a buzzer. Plus it goes off above a certain speed instead of below.

my cousin could have used those when he had my car. he hit so many curbs when he was drunk. my poor car.
one of my 88 lx's is up for parts. good engine and transmission. pretty much everything is there. the fenders and hood are bad but other than that it's pretty good.

RIP my beutiful 5g coupe. May the villans rot in hell!

nope I actually read inside the honda shop manual that paul has on his site that there is a speed alarm... not all cars have it but it's pretty cool.

i hear most cars in japan have that, and there is really no way to get rid of it, as far as they knew... i read this in a magazine some time back.

i guess they have the sensors in other places than japan though huh?
