    how many revs???

    how many rpms do you guys think the a20a1 can handle???? ive been to 7500 but im to scared to go past that

    that is pushin it.. if you want more then you have to up grade to better valve springs and retainers cause I am goin to 8000

    and if you have a stock cam, then nothin is to gain from goin past 6000..

    Completly stock I got ..5500 and I got scared

    Well I had passed 8000 a few times in my 89 DX with no exhaust. Maybe thats why I dont have it anymore.....

    I get scared at 7, since "redline" is 6250. I bet the motor can stand mid 7's, 7500 or so, how long? Who knows.

    ive taken carbed a20s to 7800 rpm and i was scared, my LXI i havent been very afraid even if its been bouncing off the rev limiter (its happend)

    I thought we didn't have rev. limiters? I have taken mine to 7000 but there really isnt any power up there. I am hoping to get my COLT Cam in soon so that should help the high end more... I really wouldnt take it that high man... rev to the redline and shift... save your poor 3G the strain especially if its a stock motor.

    How about autumn day, you go out, start up the 3g, put it in neutral, and floor it. When the engine blows up, that's how many revs it can handle.
