I noticed looking at a pic of the head we have curved valves could some peformance be gained if they were made to be flat on the bottom for increased compression.

actally there tulip heads an supposedly tulips heads increase flow. from what ive seen it work in some heads and not in others. the stock valve shape works fine. either get new pistons or leave the compression issue alone.

A flat head would keep the same flow (seeing as how the seat isnt being modified itself), and while it would raise compression, it would also not permit as much A/F to enter the chamber. It's a double-edged sword.
