    Question Power Steering question

Lately my power steering has been acting a little strange. Whenever I pull out the the steering squeeks real loud and I can feel it through the steering wheel, it doesnt feel like a belt slip either. Also, when I am at real low speeds in first gear and turning into a parking spot the power steering will give out and go all manual on me. I still have the ability to steer but its real hard and with no power assist(and its not b/c the rpm's are too low, it isnt like its going to stall or anything). I checked the fluid level and its fine also. I just thought that the power assist in are accords was suppose to give more assistance at lower speeds other then none at all which mine seems to do lately. Is this normal or is a problem sensed here? Any help would be greatly appreciated, im just afraid that i'm going to miss a turn in a parking lot and go *smash*.

Hmm.... when you're pulling into these parking spots is the car stalled and you don't know it? B/c sometimes the car dies on me at low rpms and it's really hard to turn the steering wheel. If you have the right fluid in and at the right level I don't know what else to say. I don't have my manual at work here so I can't look it up for you now.

No, I thought of that, I always have the car in a gear in which it wont stall when it does it to me. And yes, I checked the fluid and it's between the two lines and I dont know if it's the right fluid but it looks to be. I'll have to look at my manual tonight also, I have two of them but I always forget about them and go straight to troubleshooting on my own, oops.

Any progress yet? I know you said that you checked it, but the problems sound like exactly what happens when the belt slips.
