What color for new paint?

I'm goign to be painting my 3gee in the next month or so...

What colors do you all suggest?

Im thinking all black (with dark as can be back windows, all of the car black)

or maybe Burnt Orange w/ a Red flake...

What do you all think?

I think Im going to do all black since my interior is all dark grey and I want more of a sleeper since I am really looking into a B16A swap

What should I shave too? Im taking out the antenna

all black, and shave all emblems and keyholes. thats what im gonna do. and my friend in canada is gonna hook me up with one of those accord "S" emblems and im gonna put it where my "LX-i"" is now. that'll be my only emblem

I agree with speed88. Go all black and shaved. Should look sweet. Be sure and tint, too, at least to like 25% or lower.

if you are going to change the color please spend the money to do it right and get the door jams done and places like that. and remember it's going to cost a lot more to change the color totally (the right way).

I know -- I have a buddy doing it for me for $500 his dad does auto repair

Don't put an Si emblem on it. you might have the engine, but it's not a civic, thus you don't have the rest that makes the car an Si. If you want to show off you motor get a set of custom license plates that say B16, or Vtec or DOHC. I'm gonna get custom plates later that say A20A3 for my car.

i had the same prob. deciding what color to do my 87 lx-I but i finally decided on gun metal pearl w/ tinted windows and shaved emblems( oh yeah i have a dark brown interior)
