Clear corners and tails?

i just got my honda and i have been seeing people with clear corners and taillights and i wanted to get a pair. if anyone knows where to get them please tell me thanks

you can't buy them anywhere you have to make them, almost everything is custom made

well that sucks um ok my next question is does anyone know how to make them. is it like laying new plastic over it or what?

Yeah, I've done it, and I'm currently working on a better way to make them. If you need any pointers on making them, post away. I'll answer all that I can.

i dont mind, everytime i see your work i just say "damn". I was gonna ask you how to make them but do to a damn n00b teen driver, i have no reason to make em.lol.

Not dumb at all. Honestly, it takes a shit-load of time and some real attention to detail to make these. (At least for me it does b/c I'm one of those asshole perfectionists that must have it perfect, otherwise I have to start over.) But these are a far cry from perfection, but being that picture is of the first set I made, i'm not overly upset.

Anyway, if you're not in a hurry, I intend to get pics of every step of the process and describe all steps involved and put it all together in like a 72 page how-to. It'll be a step-by-step (pic-by-pic) guide to making them as perfect as I know how.

If you can't wait, best bet is to call me and have a pen and paper ready. It'll just take me an hour to type it all up, and I only want to do that once. (when I write up the how-to)

I don't mind waiting. I am trying to make the clear taillights but it is hard to make the corner without it breaking. Do you have to heat it up or something? I'm afraid it is going to melt all over the place. i was going to try and heat it up in the oven but i dont want to screw up my oven. my girlfriend would kick my ass!

and i have seen some people with the full clear corners not just the orange part being clear. Can yo make those too?

yeah you have to heat it up. How do you expect it to bend? Apply a little heat at a time and it will bend a little at a time. I have a heat gun so I don't use a oven. Yeah we can make those. Just gotta melt a big piece of plastic in there.
