    check out this BS! AIRBAGS IN AN 88 ACCORD

    they are selling this car and they say it has a driverside airbag......is that BS or what!

    it comes out the little H in the steering wheel. mine has an air bag. i thought everyones did......

    mine comes out of the radio, but the numbers on the radio and clock must match at the time of impact for it go off

    It doesn't even look like an 88 LX to me, but more of an 86-87 DX. Look at the black bumpers and the sidemarker.

    mine came out under the seat and made the roof come off and it was like an ejector seat. hahahahaha!!

    to tell you the truth, some of the later 80's cars could be retroed with airbags... i'm not sure that any hondas had ever been fitted for a retro since it is a really involved wiring process, but it could be possible... of course the steering wheel wouldn't look the same because the obvious space the airbag takes up...
