    Vogtland Lowering Springs

    I was wondering if anyone has heard good or bad about these springs ? Perhaps you know someone who has these on their accord or yours?
    I personally have never heard of this brand and dont know if they are known for quality or just some cheap spring.

    Can anyone read german? Their site may or may not have spring rate info. I could of swarn I discoved this brand has weak rear rates like the Eibachs.

    http://www.vogtland.com/english/prod...red_violet.htm

    First thing I gottan say it, thier ebay add makes the claim that they're better than H&R's, ok yeah right. Eibachs have absurd rear spring rates for our cars so I could car less if they claim to be better than Eibach, but H&R, who are they kidding. My car on H&R's and Koni's kicked ass. Only when I pushed the car past 9/10's of the limit's did I wish for more spirng power and more strut power. Frankly I don't know if we even have a hand full of people that push past 9/10's.
    H&R springs revalved Bilstein front struts, koni struts in the rear 195/55-15 Dunlop W-10's Dc Sports header custom cat-back with Dynomax super turbo w/3" Brembo slotted & dimpled rotor's EBC pads
    Well, that's what I used to have, wrecked, 7/3/02.

    Now I d

    Baujahr = year of production
    Tiefer in mm = more deeply in mm
    Hinweise = references
    Preis Netto = net price (I'm assuming deutchmarks?? or euros maybe)
    Preis Brutto = gross price
    Bestell Nr. = order number (?...I think that's what it is)
    ab = off
    bis = to
    No, I don't know German, but worldlingo.com does

    Of course, that doesn't settle what the types are...CC1, etc.

    Hope that helps!

    Haha...I know man!! I'm tired of being so high!! I'm hoping to get her dropped this summer. If these Vogtland's are like the Eibachs, though, I don't want them. No sloppy ass for me :lol Maybe if we can actually get a hold of some spring rates, we can see what they're like. Depending on that, I may get them

    I don't want to have a totally harsh ride, and if my roomy can't loan me money for Koni's, I might have to ride on stock struts for a while. GC's are pretty harsh, aren't they? I don't want to bounce off the road, if ya know what I mean.

    I swear.. they are not that harsh... they ride nice with the right strut.

    Dropzones/and matched struts would be a stiff ride.

    Chris is gonna sell me his H&R's if the other person doesn't send him the money for them in the next day or two. If I don't do that, I may look into getting the GC's. But then I'll need a camber kit...argh....so we'll see what happens. I'm really hoping for the H&R's!!

    Correct, I don't think he was planning a drop lower than 1.5 on GC's anyhow.

    i thought vogtland's were specifically for cars with heavy sound systems filling the trunk! I think that's the ad I saw in a magazine a while back...either that, or they have some springs that are stronger than usual, to hold the back end up so it doesn't look like a 80 caprice classic with about 10 dead bodies in the trunk...... but I wouldn't know anything about that......(looks around cautiously)
