What makes you love the Accord 3Gee so much? Is it because of the look, the style, the reliability, handling, or etc...
I love my 3gee too !

All of the above. And no car payment on it for the last 15 years, and hopefully 15 more!![]()
Nothin' extra

Engine is buletproof.
Alex.

i love that ricers will honk at me and try to race at lights b/c its a honda!!! j/k, the handling is great, good get up(except hills), just b/c its a honda(well, not a civic)

ive had this car since i was 16. now im 19 and this car is just as sleek as the day when i bought it. every drive was an experiance. now, it is sitting, paciently waiting for the day this new power plant will be put in. waiting for the day blood(gas) will flow through its veins once again. thats how i feel.

It was cheap, the 3geez are the best looking family cars from the late 80's that i've seen, it's practical, and it's reliable.

I haven't had my car since last july, but I still remember why. Cause if was fun, really fun. Set one up with sticky tires, 15" or 16", Koni's, good springs and it's a very rewarding car to push hard, can't say that about a 2003 accord. And it's reliable and cheap.
H&R springs revalved Bilstein front struts, koni struts in the rear 195/55-15 Dunlop W-10's Dc Sports header custom cat-back with Dynomax super turbo w/3" Brembo slotted & dimpled rotor's EBC pads
Well, that's what I used to have, wrecked, 7/3/02.

I love everything about it, from the beautiful stylish lines (especially for an 80's car), to the sound it makes when you start it up. First on my list would be reliability, reliability, reliability (yes, I wrote that 3 times). I can just get in and go anywhere without any worries, and these engines really are freaking bulletproof! The handling is nice and crisp, especially for a 4 door, and the steering always makes me happy. It's got plenty of room for me and everything else to travel in comfort, and it's remarkably smooth and quiet on the highway. Love the sound of the engine too.... it doesn't sound rough like many other 4 bangers (mostly domestic).... nice and smooth. It's got plenty of pep for what I need it for (daily driver and highway cruiser). Flippies are a must! Plus it's got all the power options you'd ever need plus a nice p/moonroof, and the pushbutton HVAC controls are cool too. I guess it just fits me perfectly, and puts a smile on my face each and every day (except for the rust holes.... I don't smile at those).
I also like the looks of disbelief I get when people ride with me or hear how good the car runs, then I tell them it's got 316k and they're like.... "No way....how many engine rebuilds?". I smile and say "Zero!"

Black '89 Accord LX-i sedan - 436,600 miles and still going strong!
Black/Red '04 Honda CBR 600 F4i -256,100 miles and also counting quick
i like the fact that its not a civic like everyone else, and it was free for me, and my first car that is officially "mine" i am probably going to keep it until i have to give it up. and i see no reason why i would do that!
plus the hatchback is still a damn good looking car to this day. and the pop ups look good, unlike a lot of other popup headlights...
231,000 on the ticker and it still takes a beating almost everyday. my car has never let me down yet!
yeah i do love the 3g!
Yeah, my accord never fails to run, it always starts up. I could have another car next to me and it will be half dead, and won't start up.
But I turn the keys and my 3gee will always power up and let me drive it.
It looks good too, I like how almost everything is powered, for a 80s car, and has everything I need. I like the flip up lights too, it makes it look way cooler than other cars, I stop at the red lights and the cars next to me won't look as cool as my 3gee :super:![]()
All this pro-Honda talk should get us a discount when going to buy a new one.
I have always like the Accords. I got the 88 becuse it was cheap for my first Honda. Now, I have a bond with the car. I don't let it down, it doesn't let me down.
