    ***I need some serious info on my 5 speed tranny***

    Ok I believe a while back I have posted something similar to this... But I have an 86 carbed 5 speed Accord LX and gears 1-4 work great like new... but when I shift it to 5th it seems like I'm in neutral, but I'm acually in 5th... could it have something to do with the tranny cable or something... could I adjust it to see if I get 5th gear to work or what... can someone please give me some helpful tips or suggestions on what it is or how to fix that problem... I don't wanna go out and buy another tranny so, maybe it could be the cable... Thanks, N Lataz
    I will alwayz drive my 3rd gen Accord, ya'll will neva c me driving a 4 door Ford.. lol

    sounds like your 5th gear is stripped out. The good thing is you don't have to drop the tranny to change it. Do a search.
