Well the fastest u can do is either low 11s or high 11s. when my Lx was in good condition (or to say WORKING condition ) it did 11.98 withouth reviing to 5K on the tach from 0-60. And the better good start is to rev your car upto around 3K before u let go off the clutch. Do konw that doing so will ruin your clutch, and racing is bad, but its F U N.

    Angry

    sadly I have an automatic....
I want to race and I do sometimes when I
know I can win. Ever since I joined this
board all I can think about is my car and
racing!!! I don't ever have time to actually
do anything to my car...I hate work ....
I'll find some time in the summer though.
I just takes sooooooooo....long to get a decent
    start...I hate that...

The red line in the tachometer is not till 6500. I say rev that biatch!! Come on optimum power is at least 5800 or something like that. Im comfortable reaching past 6000 at first she didnt like me for it. But now its very comfortable doing so. So might say that im killing her. But the car has given me no problems.

i higly doubt that our car can go 0-60 in the 9's. but i might be wrong cause i never pushed my car that far. I am sure it could do in the 10's if you know how to drive it, and again i might be wrong again. I want someone who has really truly did it (9secs) to come up and say it. and there are a lot of assholes who would bs about doing it in the 9 and i am pretty sure we can just ignore dumbasses like that. well anyways, i really want someone to push their car and see how fast our babies can go. I am finishin up my car and iwould wanna get her on the roll and see how fast she can go. WIthout any mods is the verdict there. No mods, just a stock car going quick. Thank you guys, and Inabj2 i really appreciate your insight into this man. It really gave me and i am sure others who read this post that our car might do it. Thanks man.

Ive Read somewhere that The LXi Can do 0-60 in 9.8 seconds. Even Then I still think its to much. I say if a good driver sat in our cars he could do 9.5 or so. Maybe even 9 (maybe Just maybe.)

Honda Insight Does 0-60 in 10.6 guys. And that car is nowhere as fast as hours. Kia Ria does it 10.3 seconds. I know our car can beat those...

But im Speaking for the Faster LXi. Im not sure how to get an exact 0-60 measurement tho I say 0-60 with passaner with a stop watch. Not scientific but give us an idea. ANyone up to the challange? Post your best times here!!

what kinda mods does he have on his engine? is it all stock? Its not a A20A1 or a A20A3 motor is it? according to this website http://www.geocities.com/jdpenttinen/3greview.html it says that it goes from 0-60 in 10.02 secs and it was done on a coupe.

10.02 seconds? well yes maybe on a brand new machine with a non-broken in engine. But remeber all engines have a break in period. So it wouldnt be so hard to believe that a fractions of a second gain is impossible.

Maybe 9.5 seconds maybe i could pull that off. IM not sure. It sure as hell isnt 11 seconds tho.

got damn it and I thought my car fell into a slum, it seems now more like it's slumping back to its original power. I KNOW I do better than 10 or 11 or whatever you guys are saying. I wish I had a digicam

Dont foget that over 14 years carbon build up in the cylinders could have upped the compression a tad (right?)

I completely agree. I asked in the "Let's Meet" forum. I think it's the New Orleans/baton Rouge/Louisiana one. No one responded so.....

I'll meet up though. I'll meet anywhere.
