what are your opinions on this for a swap?

As i see it, this isnt a bad price at all, but considering i have an LX, its gonna take a good chunk of money to install it, but i was curious as to what the pros thought about it..

Nice swap. I plan on doing that for my 3g. You need to convert to EFI though.

why do you need to convert to efi first? The engine is efi, and it comes with everything necessary. The only conversion that you would need is maybe the lights on the dash...

Anyway, it sounds like a good price and fun

Unless you convert to EFi first the engine will be starved for fuel. I think the carbed pump only makes like 2-3 psi and an EFI makes something like 20?? Also the gas tanks are different and the fuel delivery is a bit different. Correct me if im wrong..

You are correct on that one 88' Accord. That is a good price but you are getting alot of extra junk. Those axle, mounts, and harness will be useless. You'll need the Place Racing kit and it's abot $1,200+or - You will also need the LX-i or Se-i fuel tank and fuel lines. I'm thinking about the swap into my Accord but I want the motor built befor it goes in. It'll be a fun swap to have if you can afford it.

Yea that B16 will be a nice upgrade from are A20. You still need to get other parts previously listed to make the swap. Go for it!

The only thing stopping me right now is $$$, which maybe after a couple summers i could afford, so this will take a while. Hopefully by then i wont have lost interest or gotten rid of the car.

A couple summers...damn. Save the money and get an easier car to swap with. If it's going to take you a couple YEARS to get this type of money, then I dont think you're going to be satisfied with the swap. I know I sure as hell wouldnt be.

The swap will cost you what around $3500 and if it will take you two summers to save it up it probably isn't the best thing but it is still cheaper then buying another car that is easier to swap. If you still have the car by the time you get the money do it.

because the car is carborated. it needs a return line, but the hugest problem is the wiring harnesses. you'll have to remove the whole interior, gas tank, fenders....
the wiring harnesses are the real problem.

It may be a pain in the ass but I think it is worth it. I'm half done with it. I have got all of the parts out of the first, now I just need to wait until I have a full weekend to install everything into my car.
