alright...ill give away my secret. well the first thing oyu do it take out the switch block that hold the headlight button. ther a re a few wires in th back on the switch. find either the power or the ground ( the two fatest ones) and cut one in half. extend the wires and run them to a switch. now you can controll the position of you lights. yes the headlights go all the way up and down if the switch is open. when you clse the switch you close the circuit. CAKE

so the switch you put in is a toggle switch? and you have to close the circut as you are putting the lights up or down to stop them right where you want them? so what i'm really asking is it a toggle switch some sort of switch with a variable position.
and nobody really critisized the look. a lot of people here wonder how to do it, so thanks for telling.

not a prob...after i did it i realized "push button" switch works much better hint hint
