Does anyone have a "K&N" filter on the end of thier intake system, im almost in need of a new one and wanted to know if the whole K&N thing is what its cracked up to be.

Well I have a big ass on their from my AEM intake. And it works a lot better than my old APC specter one did and it sounds better too.
If you have K&N just buy the recharge kit and follow the instructions...

No i dont have a K&N right now, i have a peice of crap generic one from autozone (never buy them, THEY SUCK!) so i want a new one and i heard K&N was the way to go, so im contemplating either K&N or AEM
I didn't realise AEM made their own filter... I assumed they used K&N for the filters and just made the intake pipes.... oh well

From what I understand AEM is pretty much the only company that makes their filters with the 2.5" opening also...wish I knew where to get one

I have like a Bram air filter(stock) or something if i put in a K&N will it give me better performance?
