i found these slotted rotors, and i was wondering if these could be put on to replace the stock rotors, would there be anything else i would have to buy to make this conversion work?

    waste of money

I got stock replacement rotors for my my car and am happy with them, (considering mine were so bad i'm lucky i'm still here on earth. but i only paid $21.99 for them, so $69.99 for slotted rotors is a bit extreme if you ask me, if would look around more and find cross drilled and slotted for the same price if not less, I know they are out there somewhere just have not looked yet. too busy going fast to worry about stopping.

You can order slotted rotors off Nopi.com. I just got mine on yesturday and they are so nice, they were they last thing I needed. They make them for just about every Accord and are a direct replacement for the stock rotors... no mods needed, they just bolt right in, but you have to get new pads as well.

With regard to slotted and cross drilled, get the slotted.. cross drilled have a reputation for cracking, even they guy at the shop I got my slotted's from wouldn't sell me cross drilled, since he knows me and didn't want to give me some bad parts.

They are spendy, if you want better brakes these are the ones to get, but if not, then just get basic replacements....

I haven't been able to really test mine, since they have a break in period, and I really don't want to mess them up...

So my advice, get the slotted rotors.. you'll be happy with them.

I bought the Brembo OE replacements for like $21 a piece from Nopi... took forever, but they work fine..especially with my new carbon metallic pads, which i must say stop pretty damned well, especially once they heat up a little bit.

Do a search for slotted/dimpled/cross-drilled brembos. $99 bucks both sides, not bad a price. Can't remember the seller's email add though, it was a long time ago. I think Jim has it.

Would I have to modify it in anyway or is the AEM pads OEM replacement?

Ok I did some searching and found some of the slotted brakes. Here's the link, let me know what would be the best to buy. They're all for 86-89 DX/LX

    Whoops forgot the link.

    http://www.7453217467431.com/main/new_mmy_results.jsp
Power Slot Slotted (I don't know what's different between the two rotors)
    $65.95-$81.35

Don't know for sure if it's for a pair or each it doesn't really say. Some one should call them or something.

    Here's a slotted and cross-drilled rotor. I haven't called for a price yet.

It would be awesome if OldSchoolSwap could get us some rotors. I don't know if he has one of those suppliers or not. But right now it looks like nopi has the cheapest.
