Just wanted to say hello. I am new to the board. This monday I bought a '88 Honda Accord Lx-i. Thats about it.

Yeah its completly stock, just got done replacing the back breaks. I am probably going to do minor mods to it mostly because its an automatic. But at this point I need to fix it up a bit more even though its drivable. Like tuning the engine, replacing all filters and fluids and stuff like that. Body also needs work few dings and definetly new paint. But if anyone has any suggestions for minor mods I am all ears.

Well you can make a short ram intake. I know you can get cheap ones on ebay. Change the fuel filters all that good stuff. Get new plugs and wires. What's cheap though? If you give us a price range we will list lots of mods you can possibly do for the car.

Cheap as in mods that cost under $200. Don't really want to do anything serious because its automatic but a little addons would be nice. Hopefully going to add my 2 10"s soon.

Well you can get a custom exhaust system and a nice muffler for about $150 or less. An intake would be about $20-$40. Headers would be under $200 if you go for the painted pacesetter headers. Painted tails is free. (paint them candy apple red like mine.) Plugs are cheap and wires depends on what kind you want. 5 speed swap would be best if you can afford it.

Well you can buy any civic or accord intake off of ebay and modify it so it fits. Try and search for intakes on ebay. I don't think it really matters for intakes but filters I usually stick with K&N filters.
