    ok removed muffler but now...

Ok i removed the muffler from the b pipe and tried driving around with no muffler. It sounds wonderful. I think i picked up a little bit of torque but also i think it took away some top end... Im not quite sure tho, is that possible? What is better for performance, having no muffler or the stock one? I thought it should have been the other way around, that it would lose some torque and gain some hp on the top end..

Yea you want a muffler it is just plain anoying to listen to one without. Get a dynomax or another peformance muffler.

I have a gutted cat and no muffler and I think it sounds tight. It has a nice V8 sound to it. Stay with no muffler. Performance wise I'm not to sure on. But I keep getting this banging sound. The first time I heard it I thought some kids had thrown a rock at my car.
I'm your local R&D nut. Fabracting, welding, tuning and breaking my stuff so you don't have to.
