    offset 36mm

    hello.
i've been reading some of the threads and some
people say one wheel maker offset could be 40mm
but another wheel maker can be 40mm but equal
38mm. do you know what i mean?

does anyone know if 36mm will fit
    our 1987 accords?

oh the brand of the rim is prime
    tell me what you think?

    Joe

please tell me some good news

hey does anyone have any rims
with an offset of 35, 36,37 on there
    accords? thanks
    joe

Do yourself a big favor and stay away from less then 40mm offset rims. DON'T TRY IT, DON'T DO IT,....WALK AWAY FROM THEM! You have so many other choices it doesn't make sense to try. You hear about 40mm offset for our cars for a REASON, don't fool with the receipe for success.

I have never ever heard of all the rims makers NOT being on the same page as far as what they say their offsets are. That kinda sound like something a cleaver salesman would say when asked about a specific offset so he has one less objection to close the sale.

¥ It would depend on the size of the rim. My 3 spokes were 16 x 7.5 with 205/40/16s with a +35 mm offset and I had no rubbing at all with them. That was with the car dropped over four inches too. If you go with a 17 or bigger or a bigger tire than mine you would need a higher offset.

    thanks for the feedback

    ithe rims is only 15X7
and the tires are 205/50/15 i think
and i think 2 inch drop
pearldrop do you really think it wont
    rub?

Jim it doesnt make sense because you say
stay away from those rims but then pearldrop
says it depends on the size of the rim

the reason why i bought the rim is becuase
it was really cheap and i only needed two rims
luckily the person was selling two so i bought it
    this does make sense

if i had money then i have lots of choices. but i dont
so i dont have that many choieces. my choices are limited

    Joe

oh but thanks for the feedback

    give you some

    sort of a kick

    in your mouth

    rather than

    biting on

    gobstopers huh?

no offense but the reason why i wrote this thread was to ask about offset not to criticize my writing style. we can do that in off the topic section. what do you think?

    offset not writing style
