    Dk Brown SE-i?!?!?

Ok, the wierdest thing happened. I was walking to class one eveining, and i noticed a 3rd gen parked on the street with SE-i rims. It was dark brown, and faded, but it looked too faded to be the traditional taupe color, and too old to be a repaint. So, i walked across the street, and it had a cloth interior?!?! Also old. It reminded me of the 86-87 gold LX interiors... SO I looked at the back, and sure enough it said SE-i. I haven't seen it since, but it was kind of bizarre...Any thoughts? (I feel like I've had a close encounter of the 3rdgen kind.) Wow...that was bad.

The dead giveaway that it is NOT an SEi is the cloth interior. All SEi's had leather. Did you also notice if it had the Bose stereo system with the controls on the steering wheel? That was another standard feature of the SEi.

Shoot, I should've looked at the steering wheel. I thought the cloth thing was wierd, that's why I checked the model emblem on tha back. The car looks at though it's been to hades and back, so I wondered if they just pulled the seats from an old LX. Hmm, I'll have to keep my eyes open for it.

Hmmm, I don't remember that either...I guess I'll be keeping my eyes REALLY open for it. I was on my way to class, so I didn't have time to stop and look really closely.

If it's a stock SE-i, it should have the following:

    SE-i rims
Bose stereo system (volume control on the left side of the steering wheel)
    Dual exhaust tips
Leather (actually, I have seen an SE-i with cloth seats before)
    4 wheel disk brakes
    and a few other things...
